Sex Education has been a part of the school system for a long time now. But, the real question is will it be a part of the school system forever? And, if not; will it have a detrimental impact on people that lack knowledge about sex, especially teenage girls like me? Today we will be talking about the origins of sex education, religious beliefs vs. Sex Ed., and my personal beliefs and opinions from a teenage perspective about sex, and sex education being taught in school all together.

Opponents of comprehensive sex education also claim that such programs undermine traditional family values and condone abortion and homosexuality. Many people are against Sex Ed. being taught in school. Many parents exempt their child from learning about sex in school. But is this beneficial or detrimental? There's many reasons why parents do this, most of the time, some do this for moral reasons; parents think that teaching their children about sex at twelve years old is "too early". Some do it for religious reason, and some do it because I guess they just want their child to be clueless and sheltered from the real world as well as real life situations. Keeping your child hidden from knowledge like this is very dangerous, and can cause then physical damage as well as emotional
