Do you know how many young teenagers are dying around the world due to drunk driving, alcohol overdose, or alcohol poisoning? Most of the teenagers between the age of 16-18 considered themselves as a mature person who knows everything and can handle every situation that life throws at them, But are they that really mature? Because it’s always all over the news that a drunk driver, mostly teenagers, died in an accident and also killed other people too. Lastly, when minors drink alcohol they can't control what they are doing and not being able to stop themselves from harassing someone else. Alcohol-Associated violent behaviour has shown minor’s immaturity when they drink alcohol. The first reason why the drinking age should not be lowered than 19 is because alcohol is hazardous to teenagers. Teenagers are growing their bodies need nutrients but when they drink alcohol they damage their body especially their livers, brain, and heart. When people especially teenagers get drunk, alcohol can get in the way of brain’s communications pathways and that causes people to not being able to think clearly or walk properly and change in mood and behaviour. it also affects on heart and liver due to drinking a lot of alcohol over a long time or too much. Alcohol can causes cancers such as mouth, Esophagus, Throat, Liver, and Breast. Unfortunately, teenagers think the change in mood and behaviour of their friends who are drunk is funny and when they pass out its even funnier and they laugh about it and they record the moment with their phones which are embarrassing. Which the last point in the last sentence scares everyone the most and that is because they go to parties they drink and they drive and most of the time something bad happens on the way back home. What does Alcohol-Associated Violent Behaviour mean? well, it means that when people especially teenagers drink alcohol there is a high risk of harassing others in a sexual way, such as raping. unfortunately, when people get drunk their mood and behaviour can change and when it does, they might be angry faster and fight someone to death.
