In the early 1900's, the FBI and CIA have progressively improved technology for their benefit. This information now includes all access of every aspect online, and almost all technology related devices. The FBI claims cell phone records and monitoring the public online communication are essential to catch criminals red handle. Recently, the FBI has attempted to access all sources of social media, determining the internet is the realm of criminals. Even the FBI and CIA have several privileges to allow them to access personal information from us and secretly spy on our everyday conversations over the phone or the internet, they are still pressing for more and more information. This is not only illegal, it is also an intrusion of our privacy. They are being disrespectful to the innocent people. On the other hand, in the midst of recent controversies over Facebook’s privacy settings, it is easy to forget how much personal information is available from other sources on the Internet, but the government remembers. According to Benavides (2013), at this time, organizations like Palantir Advancements, and Booz Allen Hamilton are mining your Facebook and Twitter information with an end goal to perceive whether you are a terrorist, have binds to terrorists or perhaps simply can possibly some time or another get to be one.
