I Ruben Morales believe that the legislative branch has the power in the constitution. I think this because first The President can make treaties with other countries. Secondly, the President appoints the heads of all the departments, appoints ambassadors, appoints Federal judges and appoints Supreme Court Justices. Lastly The President is the Commander and Chief of the military. I chose these points because I believe that they support my claim very well. The President can make treaties with other countries but the Senate must confirm these treaties.“The House and Senate both need to vote to pass a law, and the President has to sign it. :The President appoints the heads of all the departments, appoints ambassadors, appoints Federal judges and appoints Supreme Court Justices but the Senate must confirm all nominations. “Supreme Court Justices are chosen by the President, confirmed by the Senate.” (section 1, article 3). This comes to show that the president does have lots of power but not all of it because the senate has to approve any nominations. Unlike North Korea the president doesn't have all the power so that it we have freedom in our country. “The President can give a speech to Congress on the “State of the Union,” and recommend laws that should be passed.”( section 3, article 2)I still feel that the president has a lot of power because he has the option to recommend laws. Whether it still has to be confirmed by another branch i still feel that it's a big power to have. The President is the Commander and Chief of the military.“The president can pardon people convicted of federal crimes.”(article 2, section 2) This piece of evidence supports the fact that the president is the commander and chief because even if he is not out at war he still has to appoint other
