We have time to make a change
Do you think the US should make laws on climate change now or later. I believe that the US should wait to make laws on climate change. Some might think that laws on climate change should be made as soon as possible. The US should consider to make laws on climate change later because the current greenhouse gases are expensive,it would make it harder to reach an agreement with growing countries and if Congress came in they could easily mess things up. The US should acknowledge that making climate change laws now are not the right thing to do at the moment.
One reason why we shouldn't make laws now are because the current greenhouse gases are expensive. In the future we can invent new ways to cut greenhouse gases that are cheaper. If we don’t make changes now we will save money because we will come out with more technology which might be cheaper to solve the greenhouse gas problem. When iPhones came out they were really expensive, but since now people know how to make a lot of them so they are way cheaper than they used to be. This relates to other situations,when new things come out they could be really expensive, but looking into it more may come out cheaper than when they first came out. China and India are producing more and more greenhouse gases which can swamp out any cuts we make today. If we don´t make an agreement with other growing countries before making laws,our cuts could be swamped out. The extra greenhouse gases from the growing countries will affect the cuts we make.
