One thing for sure is that what we are doing for an issue as big as global warming is not enough. We pollute the air so badly, and we aren’t doing anything about it. The first step in reversing the effects of climate change is to realize really how bad it really is. Then, people will realize what we really have to do. Everything we do affects something else- for example, putting too much CO2 into the air causes an increase in temperature, which then causes ice to melt, etc According to NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, ¨in less than 10 years, the amount of CO2 in the air has shot up on the charts. In October of 2007, there were 384 parts of CO2 per million air particles (ppm). Now, in October of 2017, there are 407 ppm.¨

All of these will result in countless deaths and billions of dollars in damage. A motherless child. A starving family. A burning house. An ecosystem completely destroyed. All of these should project an image in your head. You can also see this through all the hurricanes that we have experienced- all the money and clean up that is being dedicated to the cause. Yet another thing we are not doing enough about. Finally, the amount of arctic ice has going down by 13%. In 1980, there were about 7.83 million square kilometers of ice, and now there are only 4.72. That is a huge jump- more than three million sq. km! It is important to notice because, like I said before, the less ice, the more water which will have devastating effects on our world. As you can see from the information above, what we are doing is not enough, and we need to make a difference. There are organizations out there doing great things, but we need more. We can not allow the things that we are doing to continue, otherwise bad things will come into the scene. If we continue what we are doing, our planet will be pushed to the limits- something we want to avoid at all

WRONG. Another reason that what we are doing about global warming is not enough is that there is so much false information out there. The next step in helping to reverse climate change is to see what we are doing wrong- why we can’t seem to be able to fix it. Have you ever considered what is true about of global warming? There is a lot of false information when it comes to the topic, providing people with assertion that things are not that bad, that what we are doing is enough. One counter claim is that what we are doing is enough. Some argue that we are on the right road to solving global warming- that we are doing fine. Although while it may be true that some organizations are helping, they are helping on a really small scale- not enough to be stopping global warming (like most people think). It’s like as if you rescued one animal- although that animal has been saved, it hasn’t made a difference in the population.
