My hypothesis for this experiment was not what I expected it to be. Instead of having each section grow in size due to the solution was incorrect. I only had my 1% with solution grow. This is the lowest concentration level I had and my lowest number of brine shrimp in the section without concentration as well. The other sections with my 5% and my 10% concentration ended up with no hatched eggs at all.
Gumbo, Fried Chicken, Okra, and Collard greens those are a few of the foods African Americans eat on Juneteenth and Kwanzaa. These foods are very important to many various people in many ways. The main reasons people celebrate Junetenth is to celebrate the freedom of the last 250,000 slaves after the Civil War And the reason people celebrate Kwanzaa is because Kwanzaa originated in the turbulent 1960s to instill racial pride and unity in the black Racial group. Brine Shrimps tend to hatch in specific environmental conditions, such as high and low salt concentrations in water, weather and temperature. As one of the environmental conditions in which Brine Shrimp eggs hatch is water salinity and so, in this assignment, we were given 4 different salinity levels of water, which were 0%, 3%, 6% and 9%. As a result of the experiment, we noted that after 24 hours only one egg hatched at 3% salinity level and none at 0%, 6% and 9% levels. The second day, which was after 48 hours, there were 0 shrimps that hatched in 0% and 9% salinity levels, whereas at 3%, 7 out of 46(15.3%) eggs hatched and 6 out of 49(11%) at 6% levels. Based on this data our group concluded that the best level for hatching shrimps is 3%
For many it’s a first pet, a gift from family, something you won as a prize at a carnival, but for Canadian residents the familiar orange goldfish everyone knows and loves is becoming a serious problem. Some flush them in a hurry because they no longer want to take care of them, others commit them to a porcelain vortex because they believe their beloved fish has passed, and the Canadian Government is issuing a warning now to citizens of Canada to stop flushing their fish. Just a few goldfish with the potential to disrupt an entire ecosystem Goldfish are entering the ecosystem the way that a lot of invasive species end up in an environment they don’t belong, Humans are putting them there. Human interference is one of the leading causes of the beginning of over population of invading alien species. In this case many of the fish are going down drains, and ending up in Canada’s lakes and rivers.

Steven Seidman’s Contested Knowledge (fifth edition) is a concise 365-page sociological theory textbook encompassing classical and contemporary sociology. It begins on a personal and autobiographical note in the preface with Seidman describing his emergence from the late sixties as an optimistic and bright-eyed undergraduate. He then expresses concern over witnessing sociological theory being isolated from its public purpose, as he himself felt when struck by the disillusionment of his “sterile and pointless” theoretical work, removed from his “original moral and political motives for becoming a sociologist”. The AIDS crisis in the 1980s shifted Seidman’s focus away from sociology and onto a myriad of other areas: feminism, post-structuralism, race theory and so on. Returning to sociology in later years, Seidman appears to have come to terms with the discipline of sociology, adopting a relativist stance.

The Harlem Renaissance. These three words changed African-American history forever. One of the greatest accomplishments of the Harlem Renaissance was the sense of hope and opportunity it offered the black community. Despite this great progressive movement, racism, colorism and traditional gender roles were still a great influence in the urban affairs of the Harlem Renaissance. Through facing their many adversities, they expressed their troubles through different forms of art.
Pupusas my Favorite food, my favorites memories. Every country use different ways to identify, and represent their culture, like music, costumes, religion, and even food. I am from El Salvador the "Tom Thumb of the Americas" and most popular way to identify Salvadorians is with Pupusas, the number one food in El Salvador, certainly Pupusas are my favorite food as a good Salvadorian. Now that I am far away from my country, food is one of the things that keeps me connected with my country, family, and my memories in spite of the distance.it Is a pleasure for me to write my essay about the main traditional food for Salvadorians.
