They were both times in history where people were fighting for what they think is right and where thousands of servicemen were caught and put in prisoner of war camps. And the main cause of death in both of these kinds of camps was dysentery, and other epidemics. And the only way you could get out of these kinds of camps is by either dying, escaping, the war ending, or you join the other side. And the end to either of these wars was undetermined, so the only hope for these men, if they did not want to betray their country and/or beliefs, was to escape. And in the Nazi-German and Civil War camps, if you escaped you would not have a very likely chance of getting to a safe

Nonetheless, the North Korean group couldn’t leak their identities to other people because there was serious penalty of escaping from the country while Hannibal and Mao didn’t have

In the way that the civilizations are run the two seem remarkably similar and can be compared to each other quite easily. The state and mentality of the citizens is better in North Korea due to them being given much more freedom in what they want to accomplish throughout their lives. Where the progress of the civilization is concerned one of them advances where the other lacks, meaning that the military power isn’t too great in the fictional civilization but it is quite great in North Korea. From these three points either side can be argued about which one is better, which is right because although something is below standards from one perspective, it can be view upon from a different point of view from which it seems great, which means that neither of these civilizations are better than the
Stalin and Hitler: Similarities and Differences Stalin and Hitler emerged at the time when political and economic instability had crippled the USSR and Germany. They began making improvements which encouraged their people to believe that prosperous times await them. This notion would unfortunately turn out as an illusion. However, North Korea says it ended in a glorious victory and that the first attack came from the South, and that they were just defending themselves. This shows us that the message of the mutability of the past is still applicable today, and has validity because the human condition of believing convenient lies still
This article by Rein is comparing the situation of East Germany after World War II and North Korea after Korean War, and how the two situations are difference and it’s almost impossible to be comparing the two. With North Korean having worse condition, tt is harder to imply the solution made in Germany to Korean nations. There were no starvation in East Germany, no concentration camp and inhumane punishment by the capital. Also, one important factor is that, people, especially the younger generation does not seem to be having the same vision of reunification as much as the people in Germany do at that time. I am using this article as my overview source to compare the situation between the two, and get better view of the situation that happened

In the same way, these two journeys are dangerous because they are facing with many barriers and not easy to make it to success. Two stories have the same thing which journey has many sacrifice for accomplish the process and struggle in this world.

Trapped somewhere amid a medieval monarchy and a communist party-state, North Korea has been ruled under an iron fist doctrine for more than half a century by the dynastic succession Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-Il and Kim Jong-un (hereinafter referred to as the Kims) still exhibiting many features of the typical Stalinist political system and bureaucratic regime, emphasizing the one man–centered
