Situations May Change Your Perspective Many people make mistakes but may keep trying and eventually get it right. For example, when trying new tricks you will not get it right the first time but, if one tries often, then the person will succeed. Situations and environments are able to control an individual, unless the individual is incredibly committed to a cause. As one gets used to where they are, one has the ability to know what they are doing. According to the “Biography of Nelson Mandela” article, “Throughout his imprisonment, Mandela continued his work to end apartheid by sending secret messages from his cell on Robben Island” (“Biography of Nelson Mandela”). This evidence proves that Mandela continued to focus on his cause even when he was incarcerated.
