The Odyssey is an epic poem about the struggles of a Greek warrior. The Odyssey is about Odysseus' 10 year long journey home from the Trojan War. Logos, Ethos, and Pathos are considered the rhetorical triangle. Logos means your reason and intellect, Pathos means your feelings and emotions, and Ethos means your moral character. Although Odysseus shows many different heroic actions as a leader, nevertheless Odysseus demonstrates Ethos because Odysseus protects his men from the lotus eaters, sirens, and he returns Elpanor to Circe’s island.
A democracy is a form of government that is ruled by the people and controlled by the people. For example, here in the United states which is a democracy, everyone is allowed to vote and have land. Also, everyone is allowed to practice a religion of their choice. Athens was truly democratic because everyone had the equal justice, people were voted into office, and one’s social class did not determine what a person could become.
People are destined to be ranked into a social class. Social class is something, which one is born into, and this class cannot be changed. These classes begin with the low, middle, and high classes. Each class has different tiers, such as upper middle class or lower middle class. In America after World War Two, citizens were split between classes based on their economic stability. Americans today still look at these classes and define these people as better off or worse off than the next person. Why do people judge others for having less money than them? Why do employers send lower class citizen away when they need the money the most? These are some question that citizens in the lower or middle class have when they are looking at their position in America’s economic system.
Most presidential candidates that have come and gone, have came from all classes of society. But one you will not find is the average citizen or working class. These people for whom if they do run for office are really never mentioned or credited on any news networks, press publications or media and are blotched out by those who have ties with organizations and Super PACs to sway public opinion and attention towards these presidential candidates. When I took up running for office, as an independent I knew public attention would be a little if nonexistent but, due to the ability to self publish this manifesto I have overrided the unguided efforts of such controlled bias press and corrupt media and bypassed all such obstacles and straight into the Americans heart, unfiltered and straight from the source. I write this manifesto not for the pure profit or sale but to ensure my message to the public unscrewed and distorted by media.

I think heritage, circumstances, and choices all define a person’s social class. For starters, one of the reasons for social classes in America is heritage. Since the very beginning of the United States, people have divided themselves into different groups and ways of living based on their status. For example, someone born into a certain class, grows up surrounded by, and expecting what they have lived with.
Back when Queen Victoria ruled over Great Britain, financial and social standings were immensely significant in determining one’s lifestyle, just as it is today. The rich live peaceful, lazy lives, while the poor struggle just to get through the day. If they are lucky enough, some people can satisfy themselves with a plain lifestyle. There are four main social classes that separate these different types of people in the Victorian Era: the Upper class, Middle class, Working class, and the Lower class. The Upper class of this time period consists of aristocrats, nobles, dukes, and other types of rich families.
There are four social classes: upper class, middle class, working class and under class. An example of people who may be discriminated against because of their social class would be someone who is poor. Individuals who are poor, under class and some working class, in school could be called ‘scruffy’ by their peers because they might not be able to afford new clothes. This could lead to teachers discriminating and treating students differently. This could show overt and covert discrimination in a health and social care setting.
