Constant exposure of social media to other peoples’ is ruining the integrity of our relationships. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., effects other peoples live in some drastic ways. They have the possibilities of making the lives of others better, they can also hurt peoples’ lives as well. When social media was created, it was made as a way for people to get connected. The effects of the media has had a mass effect that has hurt everyone in various ways. Sites like Facebook and Instagram have lead people into a depression due to people showing off their lives, thus making your life feel even worse. People are always on the move, never having much time for friendship. This is considered a truly rare concept in the story due to everyone going hungry and barely making it buy. This is due to the idea that they are always on the move and they don’t have a need to use it. The two men are happy and they have no need for anyone else. The two both have a high likeness for animals, this could cause them to use social medias like Instagram to post pictures of their animals and say “My dog is so adorable” or “Best dog in the world”. This would be especially likely with Lennie because even if he doesn’t have a dog, he wants to eventually have a rabbit. With him having a rabbit, he could post videos and pictures of his rabbit doing tricks.
