Social - Tesla understand the impact on social and community on its sustainability. Tesla develop EVs with less operation cost and low on maintenance so it not require human to work on their vehicle. The more people drive the EVs the more of noise reduction to our city. Tesla builds EVs in USA and use over 75% of part making in USA (Rothaermel 2013), which will reduction of unemployment to society. Tesla open it patent to the public and encourage other EVs competitors to use their patent to produce EVs this will help other companies to build EVs more sustainable. Tesla concept are more EVs produce, more people will adapt and buy the EVs, and it will benefit the society in the end. Tesla still lost a lot of money to build EVs at the end of 2013. For examples: Modern X sell for $78,000 but it cost over $140,000 to produce (Tesla 2013). Tesla business modern to build luxury EVs can use the fund to develop and produce low cost EVs. In 2017, Tesla will achieve the goal by product Model 3 EVs with can be price can be more affordable ($35,000 per vehicle after government incentive) (Evannex 2017).
