Our society has many issues and problems. Many of those issues are very detectable. Such as poverty, drugs, and racism that impact our community and world as well everyday. If you listen to the news or radio and even look around at our community you can point out many other imperfections we have as a society. I feel that if we all work together we could possibly terminate some of society 's problems. When I look at society today I feel that there is a division in our world. I understand that everyone is not going to get along and like everyone, but as a society we could try harder to collaborate. Suicide is the act or an instance of taking one 's own life voluntarily and intentionally. (Giving more) The statistic on bullying and suicide is very disquieting. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year. For every suicide among young people, there are at least 100 suicide attempts. (Facts)From the website PureSight Online Child Safety they wrote" Hannah Smith, a 14-year-old girl from Lutterworth, Leicestershire, England, hanged herself in her bedroom on August 3rd, 2013. Her body was discovered by her older sister. In the weeks leading up to her death, Smith had been subjected to cruel taunts and insults about her weight and a family death on Ask.fm, a question-and-answer social networking site that allows anonymous participation. Bullies on Ask.fm urged her to drink bleach and cut herself. According to Hannah 's father, she went to Ask.fm to look for advice on the skin condition eczema. After her death, Hannah 's father found a note that read: "As I sit here day by day I wonder if it 's going to get better. I want to die, I want to be free. I can 't live like this anymore. I 'm not happy". (Using Quotes) Following the suicide, Hannah 's older sister, Jo, described how, just days after discovering her younger sister 's body, she started receiving abusive messages on Facebook mocking her loss and blaming her grieving father 's parenting skills for the tragic death." As you read Hannah Smith was only 14 years old when she died. She felt belittle everyone else, and wasn 't happy with life, all because of what people were saying about her. If those people would have just taken some time to read what they had typed to Hannah, and thought about how that would affect her they wouldn 't have sent it.
