Ladies and gentleman, technology and the media have been found to have a negative impact on a child’s behaviour. The popular Netflix television show “13 Reasons Why”, based on the novel by Jay Asher, explores cyberbullying and its impact. As the main protagonist Hannah Baker goes through a difficult time during high school, it unfortunately leads to her suicide. Although the storyline is untrue, the situations that occur are all based on of real-life situations that happened to Asher and people around him. Despite Hannah being a fictional character, she represents people dealing with issues like the ones faced on the show.
