As Americans, we are given many freedoms through the Constitution. These freedoms are what set our country apart from others and what attract people to our nation. One of these important freedoms is the right of a citizen to be tried in court in front of a non-biased jury. A jury is a compilation of 12 people from all walks of life who are called to come together to give a person a fair trial. Without the institution of the jury, our judicial system could not be completely fair. It is important to learn from others experiences; more specifically I was asked to talk to someone who has been called for jury duty or who has served on a jury and learn from their experiences.
