The research study includes two measurements, the Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER) test and the Situational Motivation Scale (SIMS). The first focus of the clinical experience assignment was to observe the guidance counselor administer the SIMS questionnaire to students. Two fifth grade classes were observed; students in both classes participated in a second steps teambuilding activity prior to completing the SIMS questionnaire. One of the objectives for this clinical experience was to observe how the guidance counselor administered the questionnaire. After the teambuilding activity, students in both classes received detailed instructions from the counselor on how to complete the questionnaire.

Most are full-time students, spending almost 13 hours on campus. They don 't have dorms or apartments nearby campus so they need to have a place to complete their work in an environment suitable for them. Having a space for them was a great idea that the school came up with. Located on the second floor of the student center, there is a lounge for veterans where they can relax, get work done, and meet other veterans. There is coffee available to them in the lounge as well.

After ringing the bell twice, I was greeted by a lovely lady, who greeted me inside the facility and introduced me with Janelle the person who did the tour and interview with me. The tour did not last long, since this facility is rather small. They have one meeting room that is spacious enough to have youth group meetings. In this activity room, group meeting for children and teenagers take place. For example, there is a group meeting for female teenagers may talk about their concerns of school and home life.

My overall impression was amazed the way Mrs. Bravo carried herself I would never imagined she was lonely, depressed and slightly falling into poverty. As for the facility it is nice but there needs to be an essence of diversity from employers and participants. I would definitely recommend the YMCA to older people especially African Americans, due to the history of African Americans eating habits and health problems engaging in these fitness activities will end the stereotypes of our people. I wish there was a YMCA near my grandparents because they would be able to meet new people, become healthier and improve on their cognitive skills.
