When Jesus Christ came into our world he brought love and hope into many people and started a religious uprising that made the Catholic Church one of the biggest in the world. As Christians we believe that God is in everyone and everyone can do grate things but it is your choice because God gave us free will. In this stage in my life I struggle with the Jesus story some days if every thing is not going my way but there are a people that set out to help people who struggle.
I don't just see God in one person I see it in the St. John's community as a whole. The school is the second oldest Catholic Christian school in the area, as it was founded in 1851, and it been built on LaSallian traditions. Everyone or works or attends St. John's displays Christ is some shape or form. The student body is one of the closest community's in my life and everyone cares for each other. If you look like you are having a bad day or you did bad on a test someone will notice and just say a simple hello or ask you what is wrong. This little act is what makes this community so strong. John's is through the staff and faculty. With out them our school would not be able to function in the manner it is now. In each department their are loving teacher that care for every student and would do any thing to help them. One of the best parts of St. John's is the student teacher rate. Everyday you have endless times to meet with your teacher and they will always help you. The teachers try to prepare you for the future and what you to do your best. They also set you on the right course from fallowing the Jesus story to preparing you for college. The religion department focuses on those points. It is there goal to bring you closer to God and they do that through by extending him through themselves. They also help us get on a habit to going to church every Sunday.
