I want to go to Hoosier Girls State so I can better my community when I return. I can use the new leadership skills that I acquire at Girls State to help run my school’s Student Council, National Honor Society, and Sunshine Society. Leadership skills are very important for me because I am currently the Vice President of Sunshine Society, and I will be campaigning for President next year. I hope to continue to be an efficient leader for our Sunshine members, and lead by example for the underclassmen.

Lights signal certain thoughts, and based on their origins, we walk a path of induced curiosity.

All my life, I have pushed myself to become the best person I can be, in school, in my personal life, and in the various jobs I have held. I want to be a leader in my career and my personal life, but I am still working on how to be a great leader. I have started taking on more leadership roles, becoming an officer in clubs I am involved in and becoming the Vice President of Campus Affairs in my chapter of Alpha Phi, but I believe I have not yet reached my full potential and I am an emerging leader. I would like to continue to

I am accustomed to a rigorous course load and having to manage my time. Being a part of the Honors College, surrounded by those who share the same ideals and high standards as I do, will only further my success. Living in an academically inclined environment would allow for me to make great working relationships and friendships! Not only that, but the Honors College provides many opportunities for study groups and extra help; which will be rather beneficial considering I am planning on majoring in biochemistry. I would be an exceptional candidate for the Honors College because I am not only interested in getting a fantastic education, but I want to get involved in the school and make my college experience the best that it can be.
