Alcohol is one of the oldest beverages in humanity history. This paper will be studying and reviewing American television advertisements of alcohol with focus on American beer. The paper will be looking at the rate that Americans consume alcohol, and how television advertisements portray gender and race, and their target audience. Additionally, an explanation of what the paper considers to be alcohol. Alcohol is defined as a colorless flammable liquid which is produced by the natural fermentation of sugars and is the intoxicating constituent of wine, beer, spirits, and other drinks. For example, the basic ingredients for beer are a starch sources, such as grain, corn, wheat, rice, barley, and water. A brewer's yeast is added to produce the fermentation of alcohol. Things like hop, fruit, and herbs are added for flavoring. This paper will give some information and facts about alcohol consumption in United States.
