Reality TV Millions of people watch reality tv nowadays, it's a pretty unanimous agreement that Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, and Nicki Minaj are the current reigning queens of pop culture. however it’s a pretty divided opinion on if reality TV is a good thing or a bad thing. Is it influencing our society to be petty? Is it making society more accepting? no one knows for sure. In my personal opinion reality TV is a positive thing. it gives more visibility to people of color and people of all different shapes, sizes, and background. And for some odd reason adults think it’s mostly teens watching reality tv when the average age for someone who watches reality TV is forty-seven. Many believe that reality TV is “rotting our minds” when really giving visibility to people of all different backgrounds is a positive thing and helps create a more accepting and open minded society.
