Jobs was interested in engineering from a young age because he grew in up a neighborhood of engineers. A self-learner, Jobs dropped out of college after one semester of attendance. Most people would take the traditional education route of pursuing years of college to find out who they are and what they want to be; Jobs as a young fellow man during this time, already saw that he was better off learning on his own. Certainly, it is this daring characteristic that makes him so successful. He was independent in the way he lived his life, but also knew how to use those around him to reach his goals.
