When I think of an inventor that has influenced, mirrored, and fueled my integrity for a stronger work ethic, I think of one with such precision and hardworking efforts towards innovative goals. I think of Steve Jobs. At the drop of a hat, once someone mentions Steve Jobs, people immediately recall him as “the guy who owns Apple” or “the guy who makes iPhones and iPads”. Although he is most commonly and famously known for the prestigious technology we owe great thanks for today, Steve is so much more beyond Apple.

Early on in Steve’s life, probably not more than a few years younger than I am now, Steve’s dad introduced him to many different electronics. He sparked an interest in his son towards building and reconstructing these electronics, which later transformed into a multi-million dollar empire that is still running wild today. I applaud Steve Jobs, whom came from a peculiar childhood, and took his dreams farther than he could have imagined. That’s what truly matters in the topic. The rationality of one’s success does not depend on the amount of dollar signs or fame on media their inventions or discoveries receive, but depends on the amount of hard work and effort that was put into achieving and succeeding in their goals.
