Stihl Chainsaws Final Stihl Chainsaws and other equipment have been around for a very long time and have always had quality motors. Stihl gas so many motors and so many innovations that its almost hard to keep up with. Stihl is a world leader in outdoor power equipment. In fact, Stihl is the only motor company to design their own motors and accessories. Stihl has been constantly innovating their motors and have increased their success immensely because of it. Stihl has over 1,000 patented ideas that have made their equipment better than the competitors. The Stihl company began its journey in 1926 with its first electric chainsaw.
