Nate Searle P#1 11/8/16 Shakespeare lived hundreds of years ago why are we still using his words. Well he happens to be the best play writer even to this day. In his time, he wasn't actually the best he was down the list of play writes. We still use his words today, like the plays Romeo and Juliet and plays like that.
The summer of 2016 my family and I took a road trip to Colorado. Colorado reminded me a lot of Minnesota but on a big Mountain. There are river valleys that are 1,250 feet deep to mountains that are 14,114 feet high. I climbed a mountain in Glenwood Canyon.
On 04/04/2016 I Deputy R. Dean Hildebrand, responded to 3 Springs Street Jefferson City Montana, on a complaint of damage to rental property. Upon Arrival I spoke to the complainant Dianne Thompson. Thompson stated her rental house had been severely damaged by her previous renters Gene Marker and Tanna Ferradas Marker. While walking into the house I saw several windows had been broken. The porch lattice had been damaged.
Instead of hating bugs or spiders, I hated the outside as a child. Preferring to stay indoors, I spent my hours reading and drawing, dreading the moments my parents dragged me to a field to force sports down my throat. Basketball, soccer, volleyball; I tried all and loathed indiscriminately. Unfortunately, my father loved the outdoors, saving money for exotic vacations such as driving to the tip of Mexico instead of buying the latest iphone. Forced to go along with the rest of the family, I despised every minute of it.
I learned it takes a patience, creative and knowledge to teach young children. A teacher must be an active observer, able to interact with the child while looking for ques to optimize on any teachable moment. They have the patient to listen and respond to children in way that prompts more thought processing. Teacher should use their creativity to facilitate activities that allow children to explore and incorporate their own ideas. Additionally, teacher should remember to build relationships of trust and support with the families and children.
Steinbeck probably wanted to name the story Something That Happened for many reasons. However I think he wanted to name it that because the title Something That Happens makes the story more mysterious and interesting to the readers. I think this because the title gives reader a vague explanation about the book. Another reason could be that he wanted people to know this could happen in real life. I think this could be a reason seeing as people in the past may have not understanded what was going on and he wanted to at least try to understand things that could
Everybody knows that there are four seasons, and everyone has their favorite one out of all of them. Mine is when the woods turns into a coloring book of orange and red, when I put a nice warm batch of hot co-co on the stove, and were all of my family comes together every year. My favorite season is fall. My favorite hobby is hunting.
If someone asked me "what's my story", I would automatically think "I don't know or I don't think I have a story". To me I don't think I've had a lot of thing happen or experience a lot of thing to actually have a story. If I thought I had a story my story would be about how I'm so closed off of feelings. My friends always tell me I'm this heartless person because I never had like his moment where I say "aww" when their telling a sad story or when I don't show any feelings. I would always think how am I a heartless person when they always see me laughing or smiling.
As I enter adulthood, my life will change and I have the power to create it in the way I want. The person I am now won’t be the same as 10 years from now, things will happen to me in life and I will learn different things that will shape me as a person. I will continue to work on myself and make my life better. To better my life I need to look at myself now and find what I need to improve on and what I’m good at to move forward.
Hi,I’m Joe the darkness. I am the darkness that is in your room at night. The darkness that you think scares you when you hear noises. Everyone blames me because of noises they think that they hear in their room.
While every single word in this personal statement is true, I would have been naive if I had asserted the following statement even a few years ago; maturity, experience, and deep-seated introspection allow me to say with confidence that I now fully understand and appreciate the significance of being given the opportunity to attend law school. As what should be every other applicant, I have faith in my ability to succeed throughout my education and legal career thereafter. What experiences, characteristics, and abilities demonstrate why I am a more desirable candidate as opposed to, for example, someone with a somewhat similar occupational background, grade point average, and score on the law school admission test? “I mean this lovingly, but I’ve never really worried about you… I always knew you were going to be all right.” These are a few of the words my mother said to me at some point during 2013, the year she passed away at the age of fifty very early in the morning December 26th.
Do you know the old cliche of the security guard that has two days till retirement? That is almost applicable to the story of my last days at my workplace, Culligan. The day started as I got up from the old broken-down couch that I use for a bed. The pale morning light gently streamed through the window as I got up to put on my clothes. I looked at the ground of my room to find a pair of jeans and an old T-shirt, and begrudgingly put them on as I tried to wake up, and then I looked for my glasses and wallet.
As time passed, I seemed caught in a rigid routine. When I woke, my crazies made it hard to shower. During the day, I worked as an accountant for two small businesses in town. After work I came home, got high, and sat alone in my house. At night I watched Johnny Carson, and on the weekends, I visited my Aunt Claudia.
I woke up to the sound of the obnoxiously loud snow plows outside my window. I moved my long striped curtains away from the window, and look out to see the kids throwing snowballs and the joy it puts on their faces. I drop the curtains and glance at my alarm clock that reads 7:59. I panic when I remember that my flight takes off at eleven. I go to visit my family every year for Christmas, well my mom anyway.
Along the coast, the waves smashed against the sandy beaches as I drove down the road. I soon would arrive at my hidden destination, and the shocking taste of salty air danced on my tastebuds. I turned the corner in my car, and I could see that the dirt parking lot was was nearly empty. Once I parked, I began to hike to the top of the hill which seemed to be miles high. After a long, sweaty hike, I reached the top, and was mesmerized by the astonishing view!
