Technology is for collaborative environment as important and effective. Student collaboration with technology elevates student achievement more than individual use. Kulik (2003) and others found that student collaboration increased the information available to students through a process of sharing and augmented critical-thinking skills as students worked to assimilate a range of ideas and information from online sources, software, and their peers.

Effective educational technology integration requires leadership, support, and modeling from teachers.
