Subjective And Objective Assessments During The Civil War

399 Words2 Pages
In my classroom, I implement both subjective and objective assessments. In the morning, we do our daily brain busters which review what we learned the day before as review. In the subjective and objective assessment, I use a combination of multiple choice, fill in the blanks, and essay questions. In my view, I prefer subjective assessments over objective assessments. Now, students have to take the Georgia Milestones Assessment and there are many subjective test questions on the assessment. Personally, I feel as though objective test is based solely on memorization, but subjective test are based on knowledge and encourages understanding. The assessment I will create will be to test my 5th grade students on their knowledge about the Civil War.
