The article discusses how craft distilleries use different processes and methods in order to create a high quality product. Craft distilleries use different processes to create their spirits compared to larger companies. This is a clear example of process innovation because they are using unique techniques involving more care and attention in order to create their spirits. Along with being a process innovation craft distilleries can be considered a product innovation as well. The spirits produced by craft distilleries of finer and higher quality than larger companies’ spirits. Also craft distilleries tend to create more unique spirits that haven’t yet been introduced to the market.
