There are many flaws in argument “B”. The author is not clear or concise in his arguments. He seems to ramble on about the issue of gay marriage without providing factual evidence to support his claim that our Constitutional Republic is “moribund,” and we have committed “successful suicide.” The author is excellent at giving his opinion on the issue. However, his overwhelming bias that could be seen a mile away has taken a hold of his writing creating untrue premises. This author’s writing is biased and crude. My goal in this paper is to show examples from the author’s own writing that the author’s work is something that should be unfounded on the basis that the author’s premises are false and his structure is not good. We, as critical consumers of information have to remember that correlation does not prove causation. Being gay, or living out the “gay lifestyle” does not cause you to have an influence on child molestation. When the author states this fallacious fact, he states it in a way that declares all people who participate in the “gay lifestyle” are influenced by child molestation. That argument is invalid as the author’s premises is not true. From my personal experience, I know a gay male that is a friend of mine. He has not once molested a child or, to my knowledge and outward appearance, felt influenced because of his gay lifestyle to child molest. Furthermore, the word lifestyle means the way in which a person or group lives. Therefore, we could deem that some straight people could live out a “gay lifestyle”. They don’t necessarily have to be attracted to the same sex to live out the lifestyle. However, they could still participate in the gay lifestyle. Do straight people that enjoy going to gay club live out the “gay lifestyle?” Or people who enjoy going to PRIDE? If this is true, then we could unequivocally say that straight people have a shortened life expectancy, influence child
