Nowadays, arts could be divided in modern arts and traditional arts. In the story” The Soul of Capitalism” by Robert Collins, it talked about how Hap loved art, but he was tricked. In this essay, it will discuss the character of Hap.
To begin with, Hap was not a creative person. For example, the author stated,” He examined it from all angles but, for the life of him, couldn’t find any perspective that made it look like anything else but That Damned Ball of Burned wire.”(33)This quote showed that Hap was unable to find the art of the burned ball of wire. Therefore, Hap was not a creative person because he could not find the value of the burned ball of wire.
Moreover, Hap was a person who was lack of initiative. For example, the author stated,”
