The traumatizing scene of a boy named Brian that experiences being on an island with nothing but thousands of miles of trees with many dangerous animals and plants in his visual surroundings and the chance of not being found for a long time . If the mom would have come clean to the father, Brian would not be in the situation he was in and not having to worry if he will survive in the forest or not. The author gives a good example of how a problem was caused and that there is a consequence in every problem and this ended up being Brian getting stuck in the middle of acres of forest. I think your actions can have consequences and can lead to many problems and if the mother were truthful Brian would still be at home. My prediction is that when Brian gets rescued and lands where he lands he will be with his dad in Canada and tell his the”secret”.
