Divorce, to separate or dissociate from something else. The definition of divorce has a broad meaning but can confine one’s life. Some people may think divorce is complicated, but it is quite simple: one becomes two. In the short story “Tribal Love” by Megan Young, we dig deep into the intricate dynamics of relationships, exploring the depths of human emotion and the enduring power of love amidst being different. This story shows the theme of conflict and division, in three instances, when the mother and father disagree, when two tribes are at war, and the eventual murder of the father.
