On page 195 of, A Larger Memory: A History of Our Diversity, with Voices, Ronald Takaki includes a narrative, recalling that from the beginning of the Japanese internment, a mob of newspaper photographers persistently asked a young couple and their boy to pose happily for a photo. That photo was later seen in a newspaper with the caption: “Japs good-natured about evacuation.” How might have these newspaper outlets influence the attitudes and opinions of Japanese internment or the idea of interning certain ethnic groups out of racial discrimination and fear? Episode 5 of the PBS Series: The Latino Americans, mentioned that Sal Castro, a school teacher in Los Angeles, led the largest high school student walkout in American history in demand

Midlothian Middle School has been the place covering up hundreds of pieces of history these past hundreds of years. So much history that one could have a hard time memorizing all of it. There is one story though, one that stuck around. Always there, knocking on the back of your head asking to come into your mind like when someone knocks on your door asking to come in. The spot where Midlothian Middle school stands today sure has been a hotspot for some interesting history.
Freedom Summer, or the Mississippi Summer Project, was a volunteer campaign launched in June 1964 to attempt to register as many African-American voters as possible in Mississippi, which had historically excluded most blacks from voting. The project also set up dozens of Freedom Schools throughout Mississippi to aid the local black population. The projects leadership and funding came from the SNCC and COFO, along with hundreds of white college students in the north. In 1963, the SNCC organized a mock vote for blacks, which gave them a chance to prove they were capable of understanding politics. The civil rights activists from both organizations and the white volunteers from the north faced many challenges during the campaign.

At my old house on 2901 S St. Francis Lane the way in was quite a challenge. When driving in it required many left turns and following twisting rotes. When you got to St. Francis your car wouldn 't require you to gas, gravity took over. The hill would alway be a pain in the winter. When the road was re-paved in the summer of 2010, they said that the rollers had trouble down and over it.
In the spring of my freshman year, I was faced with something I had never faced before. I either had to choose my friends and spring break or basketball. I loved basketball, but at the same time, I realized that freshman year was the year to make a lot of friends. All I had heard in the past month was my friends talking about Spring Break. I knew that basketball would take place every single weekend until August 1st.
One of my best moments ever was going to Florida. There were so many things to do. We were in Naples, and I got to do some very fun things. I got to go to Sky Zone and it was my birthday, so I got to go to the mall and get a new pair of shoes. Another was that my sister and mother weren’t there to bug me.
Summer’s Best Event My summer’s best event was going walleye fishing in Canada. Walleye fishing in Canada was summer’s best event because it was a fun-filled experience, it was my first time walleye fishing, and it was my first time to Canada. The most fun thing that I did this summer was going on a vacation to Canada for fishing.
“Tip Up!” My dad yells as we are ice fishing up at our cabin. We are on Little Crooked Lake, we have never iced fished on this lake before, but we had good luck on there in the summer so we decided to try it again in the winter. We drove down the road to where the road cuts off to the boat landing, it wasn’t plowed so we backed down with the truck.

One of my best days was when my soccer team won the championship. I won several other championships ,but with other teams. This was my first season playing with this team. The major characters in this event were me, my teammates, my coaches and the parents. This event took place in a park at sanger during the summer.
I have been out with many of fiends before, but there’s only one that’s unforgettable; which took place in Panama City. We did a lot of unforgettable activities which makes that day unforgettable; like we went to Dave and Busters and played every gave in there, even though I sucked at them terribly, we also went to the beach and floated on top of the water like boats. We even got on a jet ski, and saw a very huge wave. When we went to Dave and Buster and played all the games there was only one game that I had won and it was the claw game. It was a very complex game, and when I finally got it made a huge smile appear on my face.
The biological approach to the basis of memory is explained in terms of underlying biological factors such as the activity of the nervous system, genetic factors, biochemical and neurochemicals. In general terms memory is our ability to encode, store, retain and recall information and past experiences afterwards in the human brain. In biological terms, memory is the recreation of past experiences by simultaneous activation or firing of neurons. Some of the major biopsychological research questions on memory are what are the biological substrates of memory, where are memories stored in the brain, how are memories assessed during recall and what is the mechanism of forgetting. The two main reasons that gave rise to the interest in biological basis of memory are that researchers became aware of the fact that many memory deficits arise from injuries to the brain.
