Is the Great Seal a sign about the Illuminati, shape shifting lizards that want to take over the world, bringing a new order? Are these horrifying, terrible rumors true that these lizards are going to take over the world? This report is going to be about the design of the Great Seal, Symbols and meanings, and What exactly is the meaning of the Seal. The Great Seal of the United States is a patriotic symbol that is admired of from the people of the United States. The Great Seal was adopted by continental congress on June 20, 1782. Starting from the front side of the Seal where the Bald Eagle is. The Bald Eagle is the United States national bird and it holds 13 arrows and 13 leaves and olives. The number 13 symbolize the first 13 states that unified into one national government. The arrow and the leaves represent the power of peace which the United States ca chose. The Bald Eagles head faces towards the leaves and olives indicating that the US will prefer peace over war. Over the Eagles head is clouds with 13 stars. These stars represent the power and place the United States have taken over the world. The shield also has a meaning to the United States. On the top layer of the shield is colored all blue. Underneath that is 13 red and white stripes symbolize the first states. The blue is on top of the stripes because it shows that all the states are under one central government. Lastly the Eagle is holding a scroll in its beak that says, “Motto E Pluribus Unum” which translate to “For many one”.
