Everywhere you go, people are listening to music, whether it is on their smartphone or being played overhead in a department store. People cleaning dishes at home, typing an email at work, or even reading a magazine on the subway listen to music. An abundance of studies show how music positively affects the work efficiency of people completing tasks or jobs, especially those that are repetitive. Music causes people to work faster, be more focused, improve their mood, and spark the creation of new ideas.
When people listen to music that they enjoy, it motivates them to work at a faster pace.
