Bullies should be penalized using school and/or legal channels.
Nowadays, there have been many cases where children have committed suicide, or taken horrible actions against themselves to try and get over the horrible idea behind cyberbullying. However, even with this being a constant problem in most high schools here in the united states, bullies are still not penalized for doing this. Taking legal action for cyberbullying is is quite good simply because not only will it demonstrate to other students that this kind of behavior is unacceptable and wrong but besides that in cases such as the one stated in Source B, it can affect more than just one person. In 2002 Peter johnson, a staff writer in Great Falls high school explained an incident that took place in this high school. Basically what happened was that a senior decided to make a website to post headshots and brief bios of the schools “hottest 10 freshman girls” Now, you might think that this shouldn’t be seen as cyber bullying but in reality it is simply because they are taking photos of girls who gave no consent for these photos to be used, especially under the context of “who’s hotter?”. Not only could this have affected the girls whose photos were used, but it could have also affected the girls who weren't used for the website. As parents and/or teachers, we have to realize that

Just because one might not have been chosen to be on this website they might have started thinking of themselves as ‘ugly’ ‘fat’ ‘worthless’ and although there isn’t any need for that, and it all depends on the person it still is not fair that all of this could have been
