Education in America, is a subject that is usually blown off from the public’s interest, “no one cares”, they would say, but soon you will have to. The education system in America is slowly failing us, we are failing to rank high on the international scale and many of our students do not have the preparation they need in order to move on to college, or get a job which may lead to a decline in GDP as a whole. The education system in america should do more to stop bullying, create a system that fits the needs of the child, what are employers/colleges looking for that the school system must apply.

Bullying is a huge problem for the American education system. Bullying affects 1 out of 3 children in a typical american school setting. Bullying may affect the child’s mental health in a negative way, which may cause problems in the long run for that child when he is trying to apply for a job, or in just day to day life. Some solutions that the government has tried would be the, “Stop bullying. Speak up campaign”, which has reduced a small portion of the problem, but a better strategy would be for the schools to teach the parents to listen to their child, and have a …show more content…

So, what does it mean to have a system that fits the child’s needs? Well the modern day people are now starting to push towards technology for everything, even in our workplaces! So, the school system would need to teach the child how to work with technology and teach them how to use it in an efficient way to increase production either it is in a factory, or at college. The school system would also have to adapt to the child’s needs so, if the child is very advanced and could take high school courses in middle school the school should be able to provide this, so that the student can continue on their own pace whether it is slow or
