Tax and health are two major components involved in our daily life. Public needs to be educated with general knowledge and informed with available service of both. Currently, I am a volunteer at Sparrow Hospital (Lansing, MI). In addition, I want to serve local public in a different way(tax) and I am capable to do it, such as , become a member of Taxpayer Advocacy Panel.
I have been a medical researcher and teacher for over 20-year.
Expertise in organization and computer: My formal training was in medicine (MD) and Biology (PhD). As a medical scientist, I do problem–solving and critical-thinking every day. Bringing ideas, writing proposals, designing experiments, keeping the process of projects on the right track are my daily tasks. I am very proud that these fundamental skills help me to achieve the success of my scientific projects, showed by 13 peer-reviewed academic publications (6 as first author and 3 as corresponding author), and two grant applications to the national institutes of health as Principal investigator (one is a R01 --application ID is 1R01HD078745-01A1 and another is a R21--application ID is R21HD075230-01A1). Currently, I am teaching “Diagnostic Microbiology” for junior students at Ferris State University. In 2012-2013, I taught “Clinical skills” for 2nd grade medical students of the MSU College of Human Medicine. As a teacher, I think that every student learns differently, and I guide them in a variety of ways.
