The famous quote, "An unexamined life is not worth living," by Socrates, has been an underlying philosophy of my life. This quote greatly appeals to me because I always wanted to ensure that I account for anything entrusted to me, whether I am being supervised or not. News of fraud, corruption, or a lack of accountability by public officeholders and business executives always sets my teeth on edge. Stewardship, integrity, and accountability became my watchwords growing up. Because of my values, I became the family and class's default treasurer. I dreamt of becoming a public accountant to steward public funds and to ensure judicious use and proper accountability for public or business resources.
Therefore, I opted to major in accounting during my secondary and undergraduate education. After graduation, I worked for diverse local, international, public, and private organizations. As I went up

I have learned excellent skills in keeping accurate books of accounts and examining transactions and records. I have also applied my analytical techniques and information technology skills to produce and present information for decision-making by employers and diverse stakeholders. Notably, I have been involved in nonprofit and community development work over the past decade. I collect and analyze funding data to discern trends and predict donors' behavior to drive fundraising decisions and strategies. My due diligence roles, financial reporting, and auditing functions have all involved collecting data, analyzing data, and concisely presenting big data and information for the benefit of diverse stakeholders. My 15+ years of experience as an accountant, auditor, and finance manager have underscored how data and analytics are crucial in forecasting, predicting, and making critical, informed business
