In the future, in my career as a teacher, there are many things that I hope to accomplish. I hope to be a successful teacher and teach them the academics that are needed but I also hope that I am able to teach them many other aspects of life that are important. I hope that I can teach them social skills, manners, and I hope that I can be a good example of these things that I want to teach them. I believe that teachers have a huge impact on a child's life and not only because of the academics that they're teaching them. I have learned a lot about what kind of teacher I want to be and many different skills of teaching. This experience has shaped my thought and view of what kind of teacher I want to be. Becoming a teacher who is able to successfully educate my students while, at the same time, teaching them to be good people at the same time is my ultimate goal. I hope to be a good example to my students and hope that setting a good example will teach be able to teach them to respect others and have good manners. I hope to look at what I've learned in this class, especially from Paley's book "You Can't Say, You Can't Play", she sets a good example of how important it is to teach her students about things other than academics. If a teacher doesn't set a good example it can negatively affect the students. I hope that I can take what I have learned in class and with the students and use these things to become an even better teacher. Throughout my future career, I hope that I can continue to learn even more information and strategies like these that can help me become an even better
