Team Ground Rules and Guidelines
What are the general expectations for all members of the team? Each person is expected to follow the rules of the charter. We will respect each other; follow the deadline to submit work to the leader. Each week everyone will know their role in completing the assignment. We will make sure that our work completed before submitting to the forum. The leader has to communicate with the team and inform them of any changes. If the leader needs help, the team should provide assistance. Each member is responsible for turning in work that is grammar, punctuation, and plagiarism free. Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team member is not contributing and collaborating effectively. How will the team manage conflicts between team members? There will be times when someone may have more parts than others; it is only fair that the next week that person will have a less partake in the assignment. If we overlook a part or if someone drops the course, the person who has the least part should step up and take the responsibility for that part. We as a team will help each other, but please do not procrastinate and do your work at the last minute and call upon your teammates; you should reach out earlier in the week. If an individual is not contributing and collaborating effectively, the leader should advise everyone to look at the charter as a reminder of our goals and roles. If this behavior continues to happen that person will receive a phone call as a reminder of contribution and collaborating. If this behavior still continues the team will have a discussion in the forum with everyone being honest to resolve the issue. We will manage conflict with respect foremost, if someone has an issue, they should post their issue and each member should reply. In the past, the charter was not always followed as planned; individuals turned work in late, setting the entire back, this team agrees to follow the charter and keep their commitment to the team. If everyone follows the guidelines to this charter as agreed, then we should do well. Poor time management is unacceptable and will impact the team performance.
