Identifying All Verbs and Specific Terms
A) Technical-Use First
While reviewing the word wall the words that stand out the most are assemble, build, fix, just do it and write briefly. The words listed are words that I often use with a do it yourself project. I often assemble the project using the tools I have on hand.I am the one that builds it up from scratch or I fix it to make it run smoothly. I have a jump in and do it attitude when it comes to making nothing into something and I love to use my hands to build great things. I noted not all of the words on the word wall pertain to my sequence learning pattern. For example I do not decipher between the pros and cons nor do I alphabetize my lists or assignments. However when doing assignments I review the material and make a list of things I need to complete for the week and what day the assignment is due on. Next I arrange my assignments and complete the assignments starting with the one that is due first. Next I do the assignments that are due last making sure to stay ahead in case I do happen to have any questions on an assignment. Finally I organize the final drafts and submit them for grading. I find that when I follow this routine I feel comfortable that I answered all that was asked of me and satisfied the work is done the best of my ability. My precision pattern is almost an avoid pattern I scored so low on it but instead it holds steady as use as needed pattern. When doing assignments I find myself observing my classmates replies or responses for various reasons. I wonder if they are struggling like myself or if they have advice in which could help me out with my thinking process. I observe my instructors advice and follow what she writes in order to process and learn more about the assignment. I also try to describe scenarios, facts, and details when I write. I want the reader to understand the point I am trying to make as well as make a connection with what they are reading. I hope the reader can relate to a scenario, find humor in my writing, or feel a loss when I write about it. Very rarely do I use precision but when I do I hope the reader is enamored enough to keep reading and wonder what is
