Everyone sees what advertising is because it plays a huge role in each of our lives every day. Mass media advertisement has an influential effect on everyone, both inactively as well as actively. It is one of the largest industries in the world. Different companies will continuously try various ways to display their services and products. There is a cockroach seen emerging from a new born baby’s mouth. This vivid image is very eye catching so it will draw individuals to look at it and wonder about the meaning behind it. The main phrase used in the ad is bigger than the rest of the text. The slogan used in the advertisement is “There are no silver spoons for children born into poverty”. This phrase explains the image because it symbolizes the actual lack of a silver spoon. On the other hand, the cockroach depicts the complete opposite of what wealthy individuals have versus people living in poverty.
