Serial killers have been a popular topic in Hollywood. There are many documentaries and dramatizations created about serial killers. The public interest in the topic stems from trying to understand what causes these people to commit such acts; serial killers have impacted the police force in so many different ways. Theorists have studied to see whether serial killers are created through childhood drama and environmental influences or determined by intellectual differences. Ted Bundy was one of the infamous serial killers for his actions. Ted Bundy has become synonymous with committing murder and kidnapping many women. Ted Bundy was born on November 24th, 1946. Ted met several other women before he started his murders and kidnappings. In May 1970 Bundy started working for the medical supply company, driving a delivery truck. He began stealing again and got caught taking a photo from a doctor's office and he even started stealing from his boss too. He would later on use those supplies he stole like crutches and containers of plaster casting material to lure the ladies into thinking he was physically impaired and needed their help. In the summer of 1971, Ted started a new job working for the Seattle Crisis Clinical Call Center. He would take calls from the frantic, the lonely, and sometimes suicidal. One time, at least every month, he would deal with high-drama calls from someone who had already taken the pills or slit their wrists. Bundy would keep the caller on the phone line long enough for the numbers to be traced and he would most often hear the cops breaking into the callers' homes to save them. While spending his time working there, he would also deal with lonely women and women who got left by their husbands.
