Ted Bundy was a 1970s serial killer, rapist, and necrophiliac, who was found guilty through the use of forensics. Ted Bundy was a serial killer in the late 20th century who was convicted of killing 36 young women, but was believed to be around 100 young women. The murders were believed to have begun around 1974 when women went missing in the Seattle area and nearby Oregon. Also, in the fall of 1974 women in the state of Utah began to go missing. Bundy’s tactics to his murders consisted of raping his victims and then beating them to death. Bundy kidnapped the young women by luring them into his vehicle by fabricating a story of needing assistance within his vehicle due to an injury. Bundy also broke into the Chi Omega sorority at Florida State University, where it was discovered that his distinctive bite mark was found on the buttocks of Lisa Levy.
