America is filled with the best leaders this country has ever seen. Teddy Roosevelt was not only active and productive but tough as nails also. While giving a campaign speech he was shot in the chest by an attempted assassin. He not only survived the wound but finished the speech about the greatness of America and the need for it to be a leader in the world. Theodore Roosevelt (Teddy) was born on October 27th, 1858.
