The 9/11 memorial has only been open for five year so it is surprising that it is so popular. Over 300,000 people have already visited the 9/11 memorial. It’s making a lots of money because the cheapest tickets are $24 and the cheapest tour is $39, and that is per person. Also on the webpage you are able to donate. The reason it is so expensive is because they need to keep it open, and the rest of the money goes the the other buildings they are building.
9/11, 2001 an attack happened terrorist hijacked four planes one failed to hit the building and one crashed into a corn field. But two made their way to the twin towers. An airplane crashed into the each tower. Hours later they collapsed. People ran crying, screaming and also getting crushed by debris while in the building.
September 11th, 2001, left a devastating impact on not only the United States, but worldwide. Many families had been separated and many souls were lost in what was one of the most terroristic events that has ever happened on American ground. As two planes crashed into the Twin Towers located in New York, thousands of people would be left stuck in the crumbling building, some able to escape, while others were not as lucky. In the National Interest”, Bergen highlights inside details of the fatal attack and what caused Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda to reign its terror on the Twin Towers.

In one hour, the peace and relative quite of 9:45 AM in New York City, was disrupted by a plane circling overhead. Curiosity turned to aghast and shock as the plane started diving toward one of the twin towers. It crashed into an upper story of the building, spewing fire and showering those below with debris. This was only one of 4 hijacked planes, heading toward other United States landmarks.

The September 11 attack, was the most horrific attack on the US in history and there has been numerous beliefs with evidence as to why this attack had happened.
Although the September 11th attacks did cause chaos and division directly after they occurred, the attacks led to a more militarily and culturally unified United States today. After the attacks, the nation was scared and confused as to how they occurred; the terrorists could have been anywhere and there was no set plan or idea of how to figure out who they were. Today, the culprits, Al Qaeda and ISIS, are well-known and our military is quickly figuring out how to deal with these terrorist organizations. Culturally, immigration and tourism to America was affected, as well as air travel, government, and even how American citizens saw their government and the world. The attack on the twin towers was on September, 11,2001. The hijackers were members of al-Qaeda. One plain struck the Pentagon, one crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, and the two other planes were flown into the Twin Towers in New York City. Around three thousand people died in this attack. 9/11 changed the way US citizens view the world today.
All of these events demonstrated that al-Qaeda could carry out terrifying attacks thousands of miles away from its base in Afghanistan. Al- qaeda’s leaders did not care about their gruesome actions. In their minds, God was on their side so they could do no wrong. Many people to this day still question our government about the 9/11 attacks and why someone did not take action before it got to this point.

The shattered steel of the Twin Towers, once towering the New York City skyline, forever changed America and its response to terrorism. The largest foreign attack on U.S. soil appropriately gave reason to Americans to recoil in fear and lose trust in the future, but in reality, the country displayed the opposite reaction.
