• There are reports that the September 11 attacks killed 2,996 people and injured more than 6,000 Americans. These deaths included 265 that were on four aircraft, 2,606 deaths just within the World Trade Center and surrounding areas, and the Pentagon had 125 deaths. These deaths weren’t necessary if the government was behind this evil intention just to bring Americans together for support of a war against another nation.
A total of three thousand people died that morning. The worse thing is that four hundred of them were policemen and firemen they were trying to save other people but they died in the action. They all died from the collapse or being stuck in the rubble for too long. ("11 Facts About 9/11.") This disaster caused lots and lots of lives from innocent people.

In addition, it left businesses, offices,people who lived apartments, and neighbors being bankrupt, jobless, and homeless. Terrorists caused a huge impact corrupting buildings and innocent lives.
One moment it was a normal day and the next moment will forever be ingrained within the minds of an entire nation. The first plane hit at 8:46 a.m. and the second at 9:03 a.m., leaving 2,819 people dead. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as a day of great destruction, a day of great loss. September 11, 2001 was the day two planes flew into the World Trade Center, forever changing the way of life for all of America. After this horrible act of terrorism the president of the United States gave a speech addressing the nation.
What happened is a group of terrorists boarded 4 planes and took them over and crashed two into the twin towers and one into the pentagon and the last one passengers on the last plane retook over the plane and crashed it in a field in Pennsylvania .
The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. On September 11th, terrorists hijacked planes and crashed them in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania. In this attack, many people lost their lives, and the government responded with immediate actions to stop the activity of terrorists. The events of 9/11 had a profound impact on American society because of how many people were affected and the subsequent changes in national security policies and public perceptions of safety.

The morning of Tuesday September 11, 2011 is one of the biggest tradgies of all time. On this specific day four airlines were hijacked by an Islamic group that goes by the name al-Qaeda. The attacks took the lives of 2,996 innocent people, injured nearly 6,000 people, and caused at least $10 billion in infracture and property damage. These attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks, will forever be remebered as one of the most horrific days for so many people around this world.
The World Trade Centers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C were struck by airplanes that were hijacked by terrorists. This terrible tragedy killing many people had deep impact on the whole American citizens. They were grief stricken, left in fear, and full of revenge to the people who committed such an awful thing. Thousands of lives were suddenly ended. The attacks involved four synchronized plan hijackings, two from Boston, on from Newark and one from Dulles International Airport in Washington.

Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.
All of these events demonstrated that al-Qaeda could carry out terrifying attacks thousands of miles away from its base in Afghanistan. Al- qaeda’s leaders did not care about their gruesome actions. In their minds, God was on their side so they could do no wrong. Many people to this day still question our government about the 9/11 attacks and why someone did not take action before it got to this point.
In the case of flight 93, men and women sacrificed their lives that day to either make sure a plane went down in a field instead of hitting the Pentagon. New York City police officers and firemen went into the towers to help save others, without fear for their own lives. We should not forget the citizens who lost their lives in those four planes or the others that worked that day in the Twin Towers. People theses days will never forget truly the emptiness they felt and continue to feel for all these people who lost their lives to terrorists. This day will never be forgotten.
