Teachers VS Mental health
The article “ The Banking Concept of Education” speaks of an issue of how students and teachers need to play both roles. It is made out as if the teachers know everything and the students know nothing. In reality, we can all learn something from each other. In no means am I saying to let the students teach the class, but a single one of us doesn't know everything and it can be easy to think that you do when you have authority. Expanding our minds is one of the most powerful things that we can accomplish. Based on personal experience, it becomes easier to open the minds of students when we are able to all learn new things.

I have recently discovered that there is a teacher mental health crisis, ultimately causing teachers to quit their jobs. Starting when the pandemic hit, it was apparent that schools were unable to stay in session. The pandemic made it difficult for teachers to have their lesson plans, face to face contact with students and everything else that is necessary for a student to be successful, this was my case. I know that we are still feeling effects from the pandemic. There are still students in my school that wear masks, I've never seen their full face. The mental health crisis was not just felt in teachers. It was staff, students, parents as well as siblings and family members of students. The pandemic brought staff and students together. As much trouble as we had with it, I see that there are many students that are thriving and more respectful as a cause from this break that we had. Working together was the only way that we got through the pandemic.
In comparison to my last school, I see a clear line of where teachers stand, and where students stand. I don’t see where students work with teachers to solve problems, or vice versa. My current school also has a much higher success rate than my last , proving that this is effective. I don't believe that there was ever a time that I could ask a question at my old school without feeling completely uneducated after the teacher got done explaining the answer. Her anxiety spiked, her heart thumped out of her chest and her left arm went numb. I’m having a heart attack, she thought. “ .. She was in fact not having a heart attack, but a panic attack. It is unclear what caused the panic attack other than emotions that took over her body. It is as if she was stressed out, but didn’t even realize it because she was so busy. After fourteen years, this teacher had to quit a job that she loved as she could no longer hold it together to teach. Mistakenly, the reason that she was having the panic attacks is because she was feeling this way, however she just blocked it out of her
