The Bombardier Beetle: The Lie Of Evolution

460 Words2 Pages

Bang! Boom! The explosion happened at 5.5 billion degrees Celsius, and from nothing life began to appear. Electrons, protons, and neutrons combined or decayed to form living organisms. Life began to form – gradually, over a long period of time a horse began to transform into a dog, and monkeys began to transform into humans. The “Big Bang” theory, also known as the theory of evolution states that life came about 13.7 billion years ago, gradually by an impersonal force, without any intervention of God. What does the theory of evolution say about God? Is there a god that made the world? Christians believe that, “Because by Him everything was created, in heaven and on earth, invisible and visible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities …show more content…

The Bombardier Beetle is one of these animals. This beetle is a six-legged, half an inch long bug. In order to defend itself from its predators, the beetle mixes chemicals together and then shots them at its predator. If the beetle shot this chemical in one explosion, it would have the power to blow the beetle into bits. However, the beetle shoots on average 1,000 little explosions at its predator. How could the method of tiny explosions over and over have evolved? Another animal that highlights the lie of evolution is the giraffe. The long neck of the giraffe makes for a powerful heart to pump the blood from its heart to its brain. Technically, the blood when the giraffe leans down for a drink should blow it’s brains out. Instead, God provided the giraffe with a sponge and spigots (a plug) that absorbs the rush of blood. How could the mechanisms that the Bombardier Beetle has in order to defend itself gradually evolve, or the sponge and spigots in a giraffe’s brain evolve? These animals, as well as many more need all their mechanisms for surviving at the beginning of time – as one
