Do young adults should live with their parents or independently? In the article “It’s Official: The Boomerang Kids Won’t Leave,” Adam Davidson argues the positive and the negative aspects of young adults living with their parents. He claims that the destabilized economy has affected young graduates who were embarking their careers. Because of this, the young adults are coming to their millennials. Davidson states that the majority of graduate students lives with their parents, as they can receive financial support. On the other side, Davidson argues that relying on parents is a sign of being negligences. While it is true that staying with parents provides benefits, I agree that boomerang kids should not live on their parents’ support. As young people grow, they need to embrace every obstacle in their lives because each hurdle carries a life lesson to learn. In “It’s Official: The Boomerang Kids Won’t Leave,” Davidson states that “If they want a shot at making it into the top 20 percent, they now need to learn a skill before they get a job” (para 8). In other words, students need to accept challenges to grow their skills and values. In fact, the salary doesn’t matter compared to the values young adults received from the skills they have developed. Similarly, people who do not experience any challenges, their mind is unable to transform into adults. In “Generation Boomerang,” Dr. Tomas Paul claims that it is not possible to develop brain if, its deprived of challenges (22.06). The majority of students are always perplexed about their decisions. If the teens are taught to accept different phases of their lives, their brain shapes much faster into the adult's brain. Facing challenges help grow the maturity
